Madhavi Latha Faces Sharp Criticism from JC Prabhakar Reddy

JC Prabhakar Reddy, the chairman of Tadipatri Municipality, has made controversial remarks against actress-turned-politician Madhavi Latha, who is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prabhakar Reddy accused Madhavi Latha of being a "prostitute" and described her as a "waste candidate." He questioned the BJP's decision to include her in the party, expressing his bewilderment over her role.

The dispute stems from an incident during the New Year celebrations. Prabhakar Reddy organized a special event for women in Tadipatri, which Madhavi Latha criticized in a video. She advised women to avoid visiting JC Park, claiming that heinous activities were taking place there.

Responding to these allegations, Prabhakar Reddy strongly condemned her statements, asserting that no such incidents had occurred at JC Park. He accused Madhavi Latha of making comments that insulted women and questioned what was wrong with organizing a special event for them. He went further to criticize RSS and BJP leaders, saying, "They are worse than hijras."

In an unrelated issue, Prabhakar Reddy addressed the recent arson involving Diwakar Travels buses in Anantapur. Police are investigating the incident, but Reddy stated that he would not file a complaint. He urged the police to take suo motu action and investigate independently. Expressing a lack of trust in law enforcement, he alleged that the police are incapable of apprehending the culprits and suggested that the buses were deliberately set on fire under a planned conspiracy. He criticized the police for registering the case as a short circuit incident and remarked sarcastically, "I did not grieve when 300 buses were lost earlier, so why would I be concerned now?"
