Telugu cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy has garnered widespread acclaim after scoring a remarkable century in the ongoing fourth Test match between India and Australia at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Tollywood star Victory Venkatesh were among those who congratulated him for his outstanding performance.

“Congratulations to K. Nitish Kumar Reddy, the young cricketer from Visakhapatnam, for scoring a century in the fourth Test match. It is heartening to see him become the third-youngest Indian player to achieve this feat in Test cricket. Nitish has delivered numerous victories for Andhra in Ranji matches and excelled at the Under-16 level. I wish him many more such centuries and hope he continues to bring pride and glory to Indian cricket,” tweeted Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Victory Venkatesh, a passionate cricket enthusiast and prominent Tollywood actor, also showered praise on Nitish Kumar Reddy. "What an incredible performance! Coming in at the 8th position to bat and scoring a century is commendable. His partnership with Washington Sundar was extraordinary. Seeing Nitish perform so well in his debut Test series is a proud moment," remarked Venkatesh.
