Mohan Babu's Petition Verdict Postponed to Monday

The Telangana High Court has deferred its verdict on the anticipatory bail petition filed by veteran actor Mohan Babu to Monday, December 23. The petition was filed in connection with an attempt-to-murder case registered against him at Pahadi Shareef Police Station. This case arose following an alleged attack on TV9 journalist Ranjith Kumar with a microphone.

The incident reportedly occurred when Mohan Babu struck the journalist on the head with a microphone while the latter was covering a tense confrontation between Mohan Babu and his younger son, Manchu Manoj, near the actor’s residence in Jalpally. The journalist sustained injuries near his ear and eye, confirmed by medical reports.

Following the incident, Mohan Babu visited the hospital where Ranjith Kumar was undergoing treatment and apologized for his actions.

The altercation between Mohan Babu and Manchu Manoj reportedly involved the deployment of bouncers from both sides, escalating tensions outside the actor’s residence in recent days.

The High Court concluded its hearing on the petition today but reserved its decision for Monday.
