Allu Arjun Faces Setback as Nampally Court Orders 14-Day Remand

The Nampally Court has issued a significant verdict against popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun, placing him under 14-day judicial remand in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. This development comes amidst the ongoing proceedings of a quash petition filed by Allu Arjun in the High Court, seeking dismissal of the FIR registered against him.
Allu Arjun’s legal team requested the Nampally Court to delay its decision until the High Court delivers its judgment on the quash petition. However, the court rejected their plea and proceeded to order remand.
Following the court’s decision, there is a possibility that Allu Arjun may be transferred to Chanchalguda Jail. Meanwhile, the High Court’s decision on the quash petition is awaited, which could potentially alter the course of events regarding the remand.
If the High Court also dismisses Allu Arjun’s petition, reports suggest that arrangements are being made to transfer him through the back gate of the court premises to avoid public attention. Police security has reportedly been intensified around Chanchalguda Jail to manage any potential disruptions.
The situation remains dynamic, with further clarity expected once the High Court issues its ruling on the petition.
