Allu Arjun Arrested

Hyderabad police have taken popular actor Allu Arjun into custody in connection with a tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Cross Roads, during the benefit show of his film "Pushpa-2." The event led to a stampede, resulting in the death of a woman. Following this, a case was registered against Allu Arjun, prompting Chikkadpally police to detain him.

Around 20 police officers arrived at Allu Arjun's residence and escorted him to the police station. Eyewitnesses reported that the actor appeared composed and even smiled as he boarded the police vehicle. According to the FIR, Allu Arjun has been listed as Accused No. 2 (A2). Legal experts indicate that the sections under which he has been charged do not allow for station bail. If proven guilty, the maximum penalty could be a 10-year prison sentence.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has filed a petition in the High Court seeking dismissal of the case, but no relief has been granted so far. Authorities have also registered a case against Sandhya Theatre, with the theatre manager and another staff member already serving jail time. Police are likely to present Allu Arjun before the court soon.
