World Champion Gukesh Receives Overwhelming Praise from Film Celebrities
Indian Grandmaster Gukesh D. Dommaraju, who achieved a historic victory at the World Chess Championship by defeating China’s Ding Liren, has been showered with praise from prominent personalities across various fields. At just 18 years old, Gukesh became the youngest world chess champion, setting a remarkable record as only the second Indian to achieve this feat.
Following congratulatory messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, and Chief Ministers of Telugu states, prominent figures from Tollywood also extended their best wishes. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR, and filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express their admiration.
