CID Ex-ASP Vijayapal Granted Two-Day Custody in Raghurama Case

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted two-day custody to CID Ex-ASP Vijayapal in the Raghurama case. Vijayapal is facing allegations of custodial torture against Andhra Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghuramakrishnaraju during the previous government. He is currently a remand prisoner in Guntur District Jail.

The Guntur District Special Court has ordered two-day police custody for Vijayapal on December 13 and 14. The court has directed the police to take Vijayapal into custody for further investigation.
