Hero Siddharth’s Comments on Pushpa-2 Event Spark Fan Outrage
The much-anticipated film Pushpa - 2, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has emerged as a blockbuster, creating a box office tsunami since its global release on December 5. The film’s pre-release event in Patna, Bihar, drew an enormous crowd of over 300,000 people, becoming a hot topic across media platforms.
However, actor Siddharth stirred controversy with remarks about the event during a promotional interview for his upcoming film Miss You, set to release on December 13. Speaking about the Patna event, Siddharth dismissed the massive crowd turnout as mere marketing. "Even if there’s JCB work happening on the road, people will gather," he commented, implying that the turnout was not significant.
He further stated that organizing a public event by blocking a large ground would naturally attract people in Bihar. Drawing a controversial parallel, he remarked that offering a biryani packet or a liquor bottle could pull crowds to political rallies, questioning whether such gatherings translate into political victories.
These comments triggered backlash from Allu Arjun’s fans on social media. They criticized Siddharth for his “loose talk” and attributed his career decline to such outspoken behavior, claiming that this attitude cost him his top-hero status in the industry.
