Minister Ponnala Prabhakar denounces KCR's remarks on Medigadda Barrage pillars

Hyderabad: Minister Ponnala Prabhakar criticized the former Chief Minister and BRS party leader KCR's statement that only two pillars of the Medigadda Barrage had collapsed as appalling. Speaking to journalists on Friday, he remarked that it was incorrect for KCR to claim that the Congress party's arrival would lead to drought, especially since the BRS party had been in power until recently. He accused KCR of speaking without any understanding.

He assured that they would support farmers in every possible way. He criticized the notion spread by some that droughts occurred due to them, questioning the intelligence and knowledge of those making such claims. Responding to KCR's comments at a recent Karimnagar meeting, where KCR suggested that the collapse of pillars due to sand erosion underneath them was being exaggerated, Minister Prabhakar expressed his discontentment with these remarks.
