Criminal case filed against BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy

Karimnagar: A criminal case has been registered against Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for making inappropriate comments against the police. The case was filed in Karimnagar following a complaint about his remarks. On the 7th of this month, a meeting was held in Karimnagar with KTR, Kaushik Reddy, activists, and key leaders. During this meeting, Kaushik Reddy stated that the police were harassing BRS activists and warned that they would repay the police with interest once they return to power.

Outraged by Kaushik Reddy's comments against the police, a local named Ashish Goud filed a complaint at the Karimnagar One Town Police Station. He alleged that Kaushik Reddy's speech demeaned the police and demanded immediate action against him. Following Ashish Goud's complaint, the Karimnagar police registered a criminal case against Kaushik Reddy.
