Encourage local talent in Telugu movies, Manchu Vishnu to Dil Raju
Hyderabad, August 4: As film shootings were stopped from August 1 in order to arrive at workable solutions, representatives of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) met Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) president and other members on Wednesday to sort out issues. The MAA delegation was led by its president and actor Manchu Vishnu.
According to reports, actors did not give any assurance of reducing their renumerations. However, they responded favourably to the issues pertaining to the Telugu film industry. Meanwhile, Manchu Vishnu handed over a representation to prominent producer Dil Raju on the sidelines of the meeting between MAA and Telugu Film Producers Council.
Vishnu made an appeal to producers to encourage local talent by hiring them in Telugu movies. “In case, if producers want to hire actors from other languages, then they should be encouraged to take MAA membership,” he stated and shared a photo of him handing over representation to Dil Raju on Twitter.
