Hyd: Fake baba lures lakhs of women promising plots for free

Hyderabad, July 6: Claiming himself as husband of goddess Lakshmi, a fake baba lured lakhs of women promising 200 square yard lands if they take membership of his newly floated political outfit ‘Jai Maha Bharath Party’ by submitting photostat copies of Aadhaar and photos. His name is Bhagawaan Shri Ananthavishnu Deva Prabhu and opened office at Saifabad here.
 
Believing his words, women in large number are waiting in a queue every day to hand over Aadhaar and photos. When contacted, Prabhu claimed that he is richest person in the world. “Only a few popular personalities in 196 nations know about me,” he stated and added that he would distribute plots to the poor for free through Vaikuntam Trust. “Even NRIs, former CMs are ready to distribute their lands,” he said.
 
However, local residents complained that they are facing traffic jams with women visiting his office daily with a hope of getting plots someday.
