Mani Ratnam's period drama 'Ponniyin Selvan' first look poster released

Hyderabad: People's expectations of the movies directed by the most acclaimed director Mani Ratnam are sky-high. The audience will wait for his movies. Therefore, the director will make films according to their expectations. 

Currently, he is wielding the megaphone for the movie 'Ponniyin Selvan'. Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Bobby Simha are playing the lead roles in this movie, which will be released in two parts.

The latest motion poster of this movie was released on Saturday. A video of the most anticipated period drama was released on Twitter stating that ‘The Cholas are coming’. Produced by Mani Ratnam under the banner of Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions, the first part will release on September 30. Apart from Tamil, the film will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. 
Maniratnam, who carved a niche with Kollywood, Tollywood and Bollywood, never disappointed the audience and made films, which are not only critically acclaimed but also became commercially successful.
