Honour killing in Adilabad district, parents kill daughter for marrying against their will
Adilabad (Telangana): A series of honour killings in Telangana has shocked the people across the state. Another honour killing takes place before one event is forgotten. Children and siblings are being brutally killed for the sin of loving and marrying. Couples, who enter into a marital bond with many hopes, are being killed by their kith and kin. Another tragedy took place in Adilabad before recovering from the incidents at Saroornagar and Begum Bazar in Hyderabad.
A woman, who hails from Nagala Konda in Narnur mandal of Adilabad district was murdered by her parents in a fit of rage for marrying a youth belonging to another religion. The woman identified as Rajeshwari fell in love with a young man of a different religion. However, when the girl's parents refused to their marriage proposal, she ran away from home and married the young man she loved.
The parents resented the daughter for marrying a man of a different religion and defaming them. Therefore, they murdered their daughter by slitting her throat with a knife on Friday morning. On learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot and registered a case and arrested the two accused.
