Tenders Invited for Construction of AP Secretariat Towers
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has invited tenders for the construction of key Secretariat towers in Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, the CRDA issued tenders for the construction of four towers designated for the Secretariat and an additional tower intended for the offices of Heads of Departments (HoDs).

For Secretariat Towers 1 and 2, tenders amounting to ₹1,897 crore have been issued, while ₹1,664 crore has been earmarked for Towers 3 and 4. Separately, a tender worth ₹1,126 crore has been issued for the construction of one tower to house the offices of HoDs. In total, the Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to undertake the construction of five towers at an estimated cost of ₹4,668 crore.

The CRDA is scheduled to open the technical bids for the Secretariat and HoD towers on May 1. Of the proposed buildings, the tower for the HoDs will comprise 45 floors, while each of the four Secretariat towers will have 40 floors. The CRDA has set a timeline of two and a half years to complete the construction of these Secretariat towers.
