Gold and Silver Prices Dip Marginally Across Indian Cities

Gold prices, which had recently surged to record levels, witnessed a slight decline on Tuesday, providing a measure of relief to buyers. Compared to Monday’s rates, the price of gold decreased moderately, following a similar trend in silver prices as well. The revised rates were observed across major cities in the country.
In cities such as Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Proddatur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, gold prices fell on Tuesday. The price for 10 grams of 22-carat gold declined by ₹350, settling at ₹87,200. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹330, reaching ₹95,180. These same rates were also seen in the Chennai market.
In the national capital Delhi, gold prices followed the same downward trend. The rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold fell by ₹350, reaching ₹87,350. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹330, being traded at ₹95,330.
According to market analysts, gold prices, which had been rising steadily over the past few days, have recently shown signs of volatility.
On the other hand, silver prices also registered a decline on Tuesday. Compared to Monday’s closing price, the rate for one kilogram of silver decreased by ₹100, now standing at ₹1,09,800.
