Quality and Taste of Tirumala Prasadam Earn High Praise

Former IAS officer and former Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh government, LV Subramanyam, praised the enhanced quality and taste of the offerings being distributed to devotees under the auspices of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). He made these remarks during a media interaction following his visit to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

LV Subramanyam stated that his darshan of the deity was an extraordinary experience. He specifically highlighted the improvements in the quality of the prasadam offered at Tirumala. Notably, he emphasized that the quality and taste of the laddu prasadam have significantly improved, bringing joy to the devotees.

He extended his special appreciation to the TTD officials for their efforts in delivering high-quality prasadam with devotion and dedication. "Providing quality offerings to devotees is part of serving the Lord, and I am pleased that this is being accomplished effectively," he said.

LV Subramanyam also shared that he had attended a commemorative event the previous day in Tirupati held in honor of the late Garimella Balakrishna Prasad, a renowned vaggeyakara (composer-singer). He noted that the life of Balakrishna Prasad stands as a testament to how an ordinary devotee, through divine grace, can rise to become an exceptional singer and musician.

He recalled Balakrishna Prasad’s service to the devotional community through his musical compositions for hundreds of Annamacharya keertanas, which he rendered accessible to the public.

On this occasion, LV Subramanyam urged all devotees visiting the sacred site of Tirumala to maintain discipline during darshan and seek the Lord’s blessings. He emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to uphold the sanctity of the sacred temple.
