Police Crack Down on IPL Ticket Black Marketing at Uppal Metro

Police apprehended a man selling IPL tickets illegally near Uppal Metro Station on Saturday, ahead of the highly anticipated Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Rajasthan Royals match at Uppal Stadium on Sunday. With the IPL season having started on Saturday, fans of both teams are eagerly waiting for the second match, hoping to witness the action live at the stadium.

Despite tickets being sold online and offline, they were sold out within minutes, leaving many fans disappointed. Exploiting the high demand, some individuals who managed to acquire tickets began reselling them illegally at inflated prices near the stadium.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrived at Uppal Metro Station and apprehended a man named Bharadwaj, who was selling tickets in the black market. Authorities confiscated four tickets from him and registered a case, confirming that an investigation is underway.
