Telangana Aims to Highlight Culture and Growth at Miss World Pageant

Telangana Tourism Secretary Smita Sabharwal announced that the Miss World pageant, scheduled to be held in May, will be organized in a manner that reflects Telangana’s rich culture. Discussing the event's planning, she highlighted the historical significance of Telangana, describing it as the Trilinga region with a heritage spanning 2,500 years. Sabharwal noted the state's remarkable growth over the past 11 years since its formation.
She mentioned several iconic structures in Telangana, including the Ramappa Temple, Thousand Pillar Temple, Charminar, and Golconda Fort, emphasizing their architectural brilliance. Sabharwal also highlighted Telangana’s prominence in medical tourism and acknowledged the state's distinguished reputation in the film and culinary sectors.
