Betting App Case: Vijay Devarakonda's Team Issues Clarification

Actor Vijay Devarakonda’s team has issued a clarification following reports suggesting cases filed against several celebrities, including Vijay Devarakonda, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Manchu Lakshmi, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Pranitha, in connection with betting apps.

According to the statement, Vijay Devarakonda only promoted games that have legal approvals and were skill-based. The team emphasized that his endorsements were limited to skill-based games alone.

They further clarified that Vijay Devarakonda had worked for A23, a legally approved company, which offers Rummy as a skill-based game — a categorization repeatedly affirmed by the Supreme Court. The team also confirmed that Vijay Devarakonda’s agreement with A23 concluded last year and that he currently has no association with the company.
