Logitech MX Vertical Mouse Launched in India – A Game-Changer for Professionals

Logitech, the well-known manufacturer of computer accessories, has launched an innovative mouse that differs significantly from traditional models. Unlike standard mice with a flat or slightly curved design, this new model is vertical in shape. The company has named it the Logitech MX Vertical Mouse, and its distinctive design makes it visually striking.

According to Logitech, this mouse is designed to reduce muscle strain, making it ideal for individuals who spend extended hours at their desks. It is specifically crafted for right-handed users. However, the price is considerably high, with the MX Vertical Mouse retailing at ₹12,295. While it may not be a budget-friendly option for regular employees, professionals are expected to benefit the most from its ergonomic design.

One of the key features of this mouse is its 57-degree tilt angle, which helps reduce wrist pressure. Additionally, the top surface has a rubberized texture to ensure a firm grip.

The Logitech MX Vertical Mouse is equipped with a total of five buttons, which can be customized using the Logitech Options App. This app is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Users can connect the mouse to their devices via Bluetooth or a USB-C cable. For desktop computers that lack Bluetooth connectivity, Logitech provides a universal receiver for seamless operation.

Regarding battery life, the company claims that the mouse can last up to four months on a single charge. It also allows users to connect to multiple devices at once. Logitech has highlighted that the unique 57-degree angle design reduces hand movement by up to 10%, which can be beneficial for users experiencing wrist strain.

This ergonomic mouse is particularly useful for individuals who suffer from wrist pain due to prolonged computer usage. Its design provides better wrist support and comfort. However, experts suggest that for users without wrist-related issues, the high price may not be justified.
