"My Younger Brother Adopts a New Persona Every Day": KA Paul’s Jibe at Pawan Kalyan

Prominent Christian evangelist KA Paul has launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, accusing him of political opportunism and inconsistency in his ideological stance. Paul alleged that Kalyan frequently shifts his positions to mislead the public.
Paul criticized Kalyan for claiming to follow Sanatana Dharma while also stating that he had undergone baptism in a church. According to Paul, this contradiction highlights Kalyan’s double standards. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan’s religious assertions are merely a tactic to gain political mileage.
“Pawan Kalyan claims to be a follower of Sanatana Dharma from birth. Yet, he previously stated that he consumed beef and that his father did too. Does a Sanatana follower eat beef or adopt a Muslim persona? He also claimed to have received baptism in a church in Jordan. If he was truly Sanatana from birth, why would he undergo baptism?” Paul questioned.
Mocking Pawan Kalyan’s political adaptability, Paul said, “My younger brother (Pawan Kalyan) is always secular. He takes on whatever persona suits him on a given day. He steps out for political power but must realize that it is God who decides one’s fate, not [Prime Minister Narendra] Modi.”
Paul further invoked historical figures to underscore his point, stating, “Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life but never sold out. [Dr. B.R.] Ambedkar rejected ministerial positions but never compromised his principles. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao suffered mental anguish after losing power but never betrayed his values. And yet, all of you are willing to be mere foot soldiers for these leaders?” He insisted that secularism should prevail over communal politics.
Paul also cautioned against inciting religious conflicts, saying, “Hindus, Muslims, and Christians should not be divided. Learn from me—KA Paul, the global peace ambassador.”
Additionally, Paul objected to a government order (GO) issued by Pawan Kalyan on February 10, allegedly targeting unauthorized churches. He claimed that Kalyan lacks legal awareness and is violating religious freedom. Paul urged people not to take Kalyan’s remarks seriously, asserting that his statements hold no real significance.
Highlighting his contributions to global peace, Paul recalled his past efforts to mediate the Russia-Ukraine war. However, he noted that his current presence in India prevents him from continuing those efforts. He reaffirmed his commitment to exposing corruption in his home state and making the public aware of ongoing issues.
