Case Filed Against Duvvada Srinivas in Guntur

A case has been registered against YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLC Duvvada Srinivas at Nagarampalem Police Station in Guntur. The complaint was lodged by Jana Sena Party leader Adapa Manikyala Rao, alleging that Srinivas made inappropriate remarks against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
In addition to the case in Guntur, complaints have also been filed against Duvvada Srinivas in Vijayawada, Avanigadda, and Machilipatnam. In Vizianagaram, Koppula Velama Welfare and Development Corporation leader Ravi Kumar filed a complaint with the local Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), claiming that Srinivas’ statements were derogatory towards Pawan Kalyan.
Jana Sena's women councillors from Konaseema district also approached the Amalapuram DSP, urging action against Srinivas. The controversy arose after Srinivas allegedly stated that Pawan Kalyan was receiving ₹50 crore per month to refrain from questioning Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. His remarks have sparked strong reactions from Jana Sena supporters.
Meanwhile, the ruling coalition leaders maintain that the legal system is functioning independently and that the cases are following due process.
