Jio, Disney+ Hotstar Merger: Subscription Plans Announced!
Jio Cinema and Disney Hotstar have merged, creating a unified OTT platform named "JioHotstar." With this integration, JioHotstar has become one of the largest streaming platforms, offering content from both Jio Cinema and Disney Hotstar in a single destination. Users can now access all content from both services under one app.
JioHotstar provides access to 100 live TV channels and over 30 hours of on-demand content. Jio Cinema holds the digital streaming rights for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and other domestic cricket matches in India, while Disney Hotstar owns the rights to all ICC tournaments. Following the merger, all these matches will now be available on JioHotstar.
