Rahul Gandhi Reacts to Delhi Election Results on Social Media

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi responded to the Delhi Assembly election results through a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). He stated that the Congress party humbly accepts the verdict given by the people of Delhi and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fighting for public issues.

Rahul Gandhi expressed his gratitude to party workers who worked with dedication during the elections and thanked voters who supported the Congress. He emphasized that the party would continue its fight against pollution, inflation, and corruption while advocating for the rights and development of the people of Delhi.

The Congress party failed to secure a single seat in the Delhi Assembly elections. Out of the 70 constituencies, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 48 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured 22 seats. However, Congress leaders claimed that the party's vote share had increased compared to previous elections. Some senior leaders, including Jairam Ramesh, expressed confidence that the party would return to power by 2030.
