Harish Kumar Gupta Assumes Charge as New DGP of Andhra Pradesh

Harish Kumar Gupta officially took charge as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh today. Accompanied by his family, he entered his office and formally assumed his responsibilities in a ceremonial manner. Senior police officials extended their congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed DGP.

Following the formation of the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh, senior IPS officer Dwaraka Tirumala Rao was appointed as the DGP. His tenure concluded today, and the police department bid him a grand farewell.
