Police Identify Saif Ali Khan’s Attacker Using Facial Recognition Technology

Mumbai police have identified the suspect who attacked Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan using facial recognition technology. Authorities analyzed CCTV footage from the actor’s residence and confirmed that the individual in the video is Mohammad Shariful Islam, the accused in the case.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the 16th of this month when the suspect entered Saif Ali Khan’s house and assaulted him. As part of the investigation, forensic teams collected nearly 19,000 fingerprints from the scene. However, recent reports indicated that none of them matched the suspect’s fingerprints.
Police had earlier stated that the accused had illegally entered India from Bangladesh. They also mentioned that he had broken into Saif Ali Khan’s house with the intention of committing theft. During the investigation, law enforcement officials recovered the clothes the actor was wearing at the time of the attack.
