Telangana High Court Makes Key Comments on Benefit Shows

The Telangana High Court has made significant observations regarding permissions for benefit shows in the state. The court stated that the government should adhere to the Cinematography Act. Subsequently, the next hearing has been postponed to the 21st of next month.

The High Court today heard a petition filed on the increase in cinema ticket prices and permissions for special shows.

During the proceedings, the government’s counsel argued that permissions granted for increasing ticket prices had already been revoked.

After hearing the arguments, the court emphasized compliance with the Cinematography Act, which specifies that no shows should be permitted between 1:30 AM and 8:40 AM. The court advised that the authorities strictly adhere to the provisions of the Act.
