Kurnool TDP Chief Opposes Positions for YSRCP Joiners
Tikkareddy alleged that injustices were done to TDP workers during the tenure of YSRCP leader and the former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He stated that offering party positions to individuals crossing over from YSRCP would be a disservice to long-standing TDP activists.
In his remarks, Tikkareddy also accused certain individuals of exploiting the party's grassroots workers. He claimed that some persons, misusing the names of TDP MLAs and party in-charges, were collecting bribes from TDP workers under the guise of issuing dealership licenses, with demands allegedly going up to ₹5 lakh. He condemned such practices, stating they were unacceptable and damaging to the party's credibility.
Tikkareddy further announced his intention to bring these issues, including illegal activities and corruption within Kurnool, to the attention of the Chief Minister. He stressed the need to prioritize justice for loyal party workers and hold accountable those engaging in misconduct.
