Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ Sets Box Office on Fire with ₹92 Crore Gross
Tollywood senior actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film ‘Daaku Maharaaj’, directed by Bobby Kolli, is making waves at the box office with impressive collections. Released as a Sankranti festive offering on Sunday, the film has garnered over ₹92 crore gross worldwide within three days, according to an official announcement by the production house, Sithara Entertainments.
The production house shared a special poster on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating, “‘Daaku Maharaaj’ has emerged as a blockbuster this Sankranti, enthralling audiences worldwide. This Sankranti, the king is Daaku Maharaaj, ruling both the box office and the hearts of viewers. A complete festive treat filled with family emotions!”
On its opening day, the film amassed over ₹56 crore, followed by collections surpassing ₹74 crore on the second day. By the third day, the film crossed the ₹92 crore mark, setting a new benchmark for Balakrishna's career as his highest opening film to date.
The film features Balakrishna in the lead role alongside actresses Shraddha Srinath, Pragya Jaiswal, and Urvashi Rautela. Music for the movie is composed by S.S. Thaman, while the production has been handled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
