KTR Faces Setback in Supreme Court; Government Whip Aadi Srinivas Reacts

BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) faced another setback in the Supreme Court regarding the Formula E racing case. Reacting to the court's developments, Government Whip Aadi Srinivas criticized KTR, stating that he not only failed in the High Court but also suffered a defeat in the Supreme Court. He remarked, “KTR’s current situation is akin to being hit both on the wall and the cheek.”

Aadi Srinivas alleged that KTR misused public funds by violating regulations in the organization of the E-car racing event. He also referred to KTR’s recent comments where he claimed to have been targeted by baseless cases, challenging him to make the same statements now. Srinivas accused KTR of filing false and weak cases, saying that while KTR alleges that the Congress government is trying to imprison him by lodging illegal cases, he should remember that it has been 13 months since the new government came to power. He further pointed out that during the BRS regime, Congress leader Revanth Reddy was arrested at midnight after forcibly breaking open his doors.

Referring to ongoing investigations, Srinivas said that it is inappropriate for KTR to label a case as false after the ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) and ED (Enforcement Directorate) filed FIRs with the Governor’s approval. He noted that those who defended KTR during his time in power are still supporting him. Investigations are underway concerning various controversies, including the Medigadda project, phone tapping, and scams related to sheep and fish distribution. Despite KTR’s efforts to halt inquiries through legal interventions, Srinivas asserted that "truth is like fire" and cannot be extinguished.

Srinivas concluded by saying that mistakes committed by those in power cannot be overlooked, and even divine intervention would not help them. He stressed that individuals who misuse public funds would inevitably face punishment under the law.
