NTR, Basavatarakam Statues Unveiled by CM Chandrababu in Naravaripalle
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated in multiple events today in his hometown, Naravaripalle, on the occasion of Sankranti. As part of the festivities, Chandrababu unveiled the statues of his parents-in-law, Basavatarakam and legendary actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Several members of the Nara and Nandamuri families were present at the event.
Earlier in the day, Chandrababu, along with his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, son Nara Lokesh, and daughter-in-law Brahmani, conducted special rituals at the family’s ancestral deity Nagalamma temple. Clad in traditional attire, Chandrababu and his family circumambulated the sacred temple premises as part of the customary practices.
As part of the day’s schedule, the Chief Minister also visited the burial site of his parents, where he performed special prayers to honor their memory.
