According to the report, India ranks 13th, with Indian employees working an average of 46.7 hours per week. Furthermore, 51% of employees in India reportedly work 49 or more hours weekly.
The top 10 countries with the longest working hours are as follows:
Bhutan: Despite its small population, Bhutan ranks first globally, with employees working an average of 54.4 hours per week.
United Arab Emirates (UAE): Employees in the UAE work 50.9 hours per week, placing it second.
Lesotho: This southern African nation ranks third, with employees working 50.4 hours per week.
Congo: Employees in Congo work 48.6 hours per week, earning the country fourth place.
Qatar: Ranking fifth, employees in Qatar work an average of 48 hours per week.
Liberia: In sixth place, employees in Liberia work 47.7 hours weekly.
Mauritania: This West African nation ranks seventh, with employees working 47.6 hours per week.
Lebanon: Ranking eighth, Lebanese employees work an average of 47.6 hours per week.
Mongolia: Employees in Mongolia work 47.3 hours per week, placing the country ninth.
Jordan: Jordan ranks tenth, with employees working an average of 47 hours weekly.
