Trains Departing from Secunderabad, Hyderabad to Now Start from Charlapalli Terminal

The South Central Railway has announced that two major trains—Hyderabad to Chennai Central (12603/12604) and Secunderabad to Gorakhpur (12589/12590)—will now commence operations from the newly constructed Charlapalli terminal. This decision will be implemented from March 12, 2025, as part of an effort to ease congestion at the existing terminals in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Additionally, starting from January 7, 2025, several trains will have a scheduled halt at Charlapalli station. These include the Secunderabad–Sirpur Kagaznagar Express (12757), Sirpur Kagaznagar–Secunderabad Express (12758), Guntur–Secunderabad Express (17201), Secunderabad–Guntur Express (17202), Secunderabad–Sirpur Kagaznagar Express (17233), and Sirpur Kagaznagar–Secunderabad Express (17234), according to the officials.

In light of increased demand during the Sankranti festival, the South Central Railway has arranged 52 special trains to operate between January 6 and 18, 2025. Some of these special trains will also depart from the Charlapalli terminal starting from today.
