Will a Three-Hour Delay in Pension Distribution Cause Chaos?: AP Employees Federation President Venkata Rami Reddy
Speaking on the occasion, Venkata Rami Reddy urged employees to note down the names of those troubling them and warned that such individuals may face repercussions in the future. He alleged that during reviews, higher officials often scold lower-level officers unnecessarily. Kakarla Venkata Rami Reddy also criticized the conduct of ministers, claiming, “When TDP workers visit offices, they are offered tea and treated respectfully, but we are threatened with warnings like ‘we’ll deal with you.’ This shows a lack of respect for employees.”
Expressing frustration, he claimed that there is no conducive work environment for employees in the state. He criticized the practice of distributing pensions before dawn, asking why such an early hour was necessary. “Does the government realize the risks involved when an employee from a distant village has to wake up and travel at such an odd time?” he questioned. “What difference does it make if the pensions are distributed at 8 AM instead of 5 AM? Will it cause chaos?” he asked pointedly.
Additionally, Venkata Rami Reddy demanded that the government provide interim relief (IR) as a Sankranti gift to employees and release at least one pending Dearness Allowance (DA).
