Increased Financial Support for Farmers under Rythu Bharosa from January 26: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar
As opposition parties criticize the government, alleging a halt to the Rythu Bharosa scheme, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has made significant announcements. Addressing the concerns, he declared that the distribution of funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme will begin on the 26th of this month. Furthermore, he revealed an increase in the financial assistance provided through the scheme, raising the amount from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000. Despite financial challenges, the government decided to enhance the payout to farmers, Prabhakar stated.
Additionally, the minister addressed concerns about ration card issuance, noting that new ration cards had not been issued in the state for the past ten years. He assured that starting January 26, new ration cards will be distributed. Speaking about housing, Prabhakar highlighted that a transparent survey is underway for Indiramma housing, and each constituency is being allocated 3,500 houses under the scheme.
