Pawan Kalyan Honors Chiranjeevi’s Legacy at Ram Charan’s Game Changer Event
The pre-release event for the much-anticipated film Game Changer, starring Global Star Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, was held in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh. Directed by Shankar, the movie is set to release on the 10th of this month. With significant expectations from audiences, the event drew attention due to the presence of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who delivered an engaging speech as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan attributed his and Ram Charan’s achievements to Megastar Chiranjeevi. “Whether it’s me, Ram Charan, or anyone else, the root of it all is Chiranjeevi Garu. You may call us game changers or OGs, but our roots trace back to a small remote village called Mogalthur,” he remarked.
Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of remembering one’s origins and pioneers in the field. He said, “You may call me Kalyan Babu, OG, or Deputy Chief Minister, but at the foundation of everything is Chiranjeevi Garu. I will never forget my roots. We cannot forget stalwarts like Raghupathi Venkaiah Garu, Dadasaheb Phalke, or Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu.”
Pawan Kalyan also paid tribute to several legendary figures of the Telugu film industry, noting their immense contributions. He said, “If the Telugu film industry has reached this stage today, it is because of the inspiration and dedication of legends like Akkineni Nageswara Rao Garu, NTR Garu, Ghattamaneni Krishna Garu, and Sobhan Babu Garu. As an actor and the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, I bow in respect to all those great personalities who have poured their heart and soul into this industry.”
Acknowledging the support for organizing the grand event in Rajamahendravaram, Pawan Kalyan expressed his gratitude to the state leadership. He stated, “This grand function could only be held here due to the blessings, support, and continuous encouragement of the experienced leader and honorable Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Garu. I sincerely thank him for his support.”
He also extended thanks to Home Minister Anitha Garu, the state’s Director General of Police, the district collector, the Superintendent of Police, and other officials involved in making the event a success. Additionally, he conveyed special thanks to Kandula Durgesh, who was present on the dais.
Concluding his speech, Pawan Kalyan reiterated the need to honor the contributions of past legends while striving to create a brighter future for Telugu cinema. The speech was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, setting a spirited tone for the film’s upcoming release.
