AP Government to Launch Thalliki Vandanam Scheme by June 15
Minister Atchannaidu assured that the Andhra Pradesh government will implement the 'Thalliki Vandanam' scheme by June 15. Speaking at the inauguration of Warehouse Corporation godowns in Samarlakota, Kakinada district, the minister emphasized that every promise made by the government would be fulfilled.
Atchannaidu criticized the YSRCP, accusing it of making baseless allegations regarding the 'Super Six' schemes initiated by the coalition government. He claimed that the current administration was paying interest on loans amounting to ₹22,000 crore, borrowed by the previous YSRCP government.
“The state was on a ventilator when we assumed power. With the cooperation of the central government, we were able to revive the state, providing it with the necessary oxygen to stabilize its finances,” Atchannaidu stated.
Expressing concern over the state’s financial condition, he said that even paying salaries to government employees has become a challenge due to insufficient funds in the treasury. Despite the hardships, Atchannaidu affirmed the government's commitment to fulfilling all its promises before going to elections.
