Renowned Muhurtham Expert Kotharu Satyanarayana Choudary Passes Away

Kotharu Satyanarayana Choudary, a prominent astrologer and vaastu expert known for setting auspicious timings (muhurthams) for Telugu films, passed away yesterday at the age of 75. He hailed from Singarajupalem, a village in Nallajerla Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

Choudary earned recognition as an authority in astrology and vaastu, carving a niche for himself as a go-to expert for the Telugu film industry. For several decades, filmmakers sought his guidance to ensure the success of their projects by adhering to auspicious timings determined by him.

According to reports, Choudary had been suffering from a high fever for four or five days and was admitted to a private hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Despite medical efforts, he could not recover from a severe lung infection, which ultimately led to his demise, doctors confirmed.

He is survived by his wife Anasuya, son Srinivas Rao, and daughter Nagamani.
