Perni Jayasudha Appears for Questioning in Missing Ration Rice Case

Former minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Perni Nani’s wife, Perni Jayasudha, appeared for questioning today at the Machilipatnam Taluka Police Station in connection with a missing ration rice case. Authorities have alleged that 378 metric tons of ration rice went missing from a godown registered under Perni Jayasudha's name.

Police issued notices to Perni Jayasudha yesterday, designating her as Accused 1 (A1) in the case. She was instructed to appear for questioning at 2 PM today.

In compliance, Perni Jayasudha arrived at the police station in the Machilipatnam mayor’s car, accompanied by her legal counsel. However, the police denied entry to her lawyers during the interrogation. The questioning is currently being conducted by R. Peta Circle Inspector Yesu Babu.
