Karnataka BJP MP Tejasvi Surya to Marry Singer Sivasri Skanda Prasad

Karnataka BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, one of the youngest Members of Parliament in India, is set to tie the knot soon. He will marry Chennai-based singer and classical artist Sivasri Skanda Prasad. Surya personally announced the news.

According to available details, Sivasri holds an MA in Bharatanatyam from Madras University and a degree in Bioengineering from Sastra University. She is also a well-known vocalist and has lent her voice to the Kannada version of a song in the film Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2. Sivasri has a significant following on YouTube, with over 200,000 subscribers.

Tejasvi Surya, a lawyer by profession, is serving his second term as an MP representing Bengaluru South. In 2019, he contested his first election and secured a resounding victory over Congress candidate BK Hariprasad with a margin of 3.31 lakh votes. Since September 2020, he has been the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).

The 34-year-old MP also achieved a unique milestone last year by becoming the first sitting MP to complete the Ironman 70.3 endurance race.

The wedding of Tejasvi Surya and Sivasri Skanda Prasad is scheduled to take place on March 24 in Bengaluru.
