Srikanth Odela’s Intriguing Remarks on His Upcoming Film with Chiranjeevi

Young director Srikanth Odela is set to collaborate with Megastar Chiranjeevi for an exciting new film, an official announcement of which was recently made. Natural Star Nani is producing the project. In a recent interview, Srikanth Odela shared some interesting insights, describing the project as extraordinarily special to him. Known for being an ardent admirer of Chiranjeevi since childhood, Srikanth expressed his awe at working with his idol.

Speaking about the project, Srikanth Odela said, “I grew up watching Chiranjeevi’s films, and today, working with him feels surreal. This film holds immense significance for me. It’s going to be different from his previous movies, showcasing him in a completely new avatar. His character in this film is exceptionally powerful.”

He further revealed that the script was finalized in just 48 hours, adding, “Chiranjeevi’s enthusiasm inspired me greatly. Until he steps out of his caravan, I’m a fan. Once he’s on set, he transforms into a character in my movie.”

Srikanth also shared insights about his inspiration for his debut film, Dasara, which was produced by Nani. He stated that the story drew inspiration from his father’s experiences as a coal mine worker. “My father’s life shaped the story of Dasara. After watching the 2019 film Brochevarevarura, I decided to pursue a career in cinema. I immediately quit my job and began my filmmaking journey,” he disclosed.

Srikanth Odela began his career as an assistant director under renowned filmmaker Sukumar before debuting as a director with Dasara in 2023, which became a massive success. He is currently working on another film with Nani, titled The Paradise. After completing this project, he will begin work on the film with Chiranjeevi.
