TTD Announces Key Decision Regarding Recommendation Letters

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made a significant announcement in the context of Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam. The TTD has decided not to accept any recommendation letters for VIP break darshan for a period of ten days. The temple administration clarified that break darshan will only be arranged for protocol dignitaries who visit in person.

TTD Executive Officer (EO) Dharma Reddy stated that this decision aims to prioritize the convenience of common devotees during the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam period. Addressing devotees during the "Dial Your TTD EO" program, he provided clarifications and responded to various queries.

Speaking about arrangements for Vaikunta Ekadasi, the EO mentioned that the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam will be held from January 10 to January 19 for ten days. As part of these arrangements, 1.4 lakh special entry tickets, priced at ₹300 each, have already been released.

Additionally, the EO announced the cancellation of room allocations for donors from January 8 to January 19 to accommodate the increased influx of devotees. He also informed that the Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam ritual would be performed in the temple on January 7.

The EO addressed complaints from devotees regarding staff misconduct towards elderly individuals and women. Assuring the devotees, he stated that appropriate measures would be taken to address these concerns.
