Allu Arjun Controversy Not Specifically Addressed by Revanth Reddy: Murali Mohan
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy did not specifically discuss the Allu Arjun controversy during today's meeting but spoke in general terms, actor Murali Mohan stated. The meeting, attended by representatives of the Telugu film industry, focused solely on industry-related issues, according to Murali Mohan.
Following the meeting, Murali Mohan shared that the Chief Minister urged the industry to resolve minor issues and disagreements internally and move forward with coordination. Revanth Reddy reportedly emphasized the government's commitment to supporting the film industry while also requesting cooperation from its stakeholders.
Murali Mohan revealed that the Chief Minister promised to revisit issues such as benefit shows and ticket price hikes. Additionally, plans to conduct an awards ceremony in the near future were discussed.
Commenting on the stampede incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre, Murali Mohan expressed his deep sorrow. He noted that the competitive nature of the film industry has made promotions increasingly critical, comparing the release of a film's first day to election results. The global release of films now necessitates widespread promotional efforts, he added.
