Proposals Presented by the Telangana Government to Film Industry Representatives
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to meet prominent figures from the film industry. A short while ago, Revanth Reddy arrived at the Police Command Control Center. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Damodar Raja Narasimha, along with 36 key representatives from the film industry, had already reached the venue. Preliminary discussions between the ministers and the film personalities were held earlier. It is reported that the government has presented several proposals during this interaction.
Proposals from the Government to Tollywood
1-Anti-Drug Campaigns: Movie actors and actresses are expected to actively participate in promotional campaigns against drug usage.
2-Eradication of Marijuana and Drugs: The government aims to organize awareness campaigns in collaboration with the film industry to combat the use of drugs like marijuana.
3-Utilization of Ticket Cess: Revenue from the cess imposed on movie tickets is proposed to be allocated for the construction of integrated schools, a flagship initiative of the government.
4-Support for Caste Census Awareness: Film celebrities are requested to assist in raising awareness about the caste census survey.
5-Restrictions on Benefit Shows and Ticket Price Hikes: The government has suggested avoiding benefit shows and refraining from raising ticket prices.
