Teenmar Mallanna Lodges Complaint Against Allu Arjun and Sukumar for Insulting Police in Pushpa 2

Congress MLC Teenmar Mallanna has lodged a complaint against director Sukumar, actor Allu Arjun, and the producers of the film Pushpa: The Rule at the Medipally Police Station in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. The complaint alleges that certain scenes in the movie portray the police in a disrespectful manner.

Speaking to the media after filing the complaint, Teenmar Mallanna stated that he had watched the movie in theaters and was disturbed by specific scenes that he described as degrading to the police. Highlighting one particular scene, he claimed, “A sandalwood smuggler rams into a police officer’s car, and the officer ends up falling into a swimming pool. To make it worse, the scene suggests that someone urinates into the pool, humiliating the police officer.”

Mallanna further demanded strict action against the film’s director Sukumar, lead actor Allu Arjun, and the producers for including such scenes. He questioned the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for approving these scenes without cuts and criticized the message that such films convey to the public.

“Why did the censor board approve these scenes? What kind of message are we giving to society with such movies? These films not only insult the police force but also mislead audiences. The authorities must take action against filmmakers who indulge in creating such content,” Mallanna said.

He also urged the authorities to promote quality cinema that carries meaningful messages while banning films that degrade individuals or institutions.
