KIMS Hospital Releases Health Bulletin on Young Boy Sritej

KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad has released an updated health bulletin on Sritej, a 9-year-old boy who was critically injured during a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in RTC Cross Roads, Hyderabad. The hospital stated that Sritej’s health condition is currently stable.

In its latest statement, KIMS Hospital confirmed that Sritej has been taken off ventilator support and is now breathing independently. However, the boy continues to experience occasional fever, but his condition has shown improvement compared to the previous day.

The incident occurred on the night of December 4 during the premiere show of the film "Pushpa 2" at the Sandhya Theatre, attended by actor Allu Arjun. A massive stampede ensued, leading to the tragic death of a woman named Revathi and severe injuries to her son, Sritej. Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand had earlier reported that Sritej sustained brain damage in the incident.
