Pushpa 2 Makers Respond to OTT Rumors, Stress Theater-First Release

The much-anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule," starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, continues to dominate the box office following its grand worldwide release on December 5. Garnering rave reviews and massive collections, the film has established itself as a blockbuster hit. Amid this success, rumors about the film’s release on OTT platforms have been circulating widely on social media.

Speculation has suggested that "Pushpa 2" will begin streaming on OTT from the second week of January. However, the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, clarified the situation through a statement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Addressing the rumors, they stated, “Numerous reports about the OTT release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ have surfaced. Enjoy this wild-fire experience during the upcoming major holiday season on the big screen. The movie will not stream on any OTT platform before 56 days from its theatrical release.
