Bail Granted to Accused in Paritala Ravi Murder Case After 18 Years

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted bail to five accused in the 2004 Paritala Ravi murder case after 18 years. The accused, Panduga Narayana Reddy (A3), Rekhamayya (A4), Ranganayakulu (A5), Vadde Konda (A6), and Obireddy (A8), received bail from the court.

Paritala Ravi was murdered on January 24, 2005, in Penukonda, Anantapur district, a case that created a sensation at the time. The main accused, Maddelacheruvu Suri, was later killed by Bhanu Kiran. Suri, who was imprisoned for the murder, was released on bail and subsequently killed by Bhanu Kiran on January 4, 2011.
