TTD EO Reviews Vaikuntha Ekadasi Arrangements: Key Highlights

Tirumala, December 17, 2024: In preparation for the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan during Vaikuntha Ekadasi, scheduled from January 10 to 19, 2025, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) J Syamala Rao held a review meeting on Tuesday evening. The meeting, conducted at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, was attended by Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, and CVSO Sri Sreedhar.

The following key decisions and arrangements were finalized to ensure smooth darshan and convenience for devotees:

Online Ticketing and Token Distribution

  • Srivani tickets for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshans will be released online on December 23 at 11:00 AM.
  • Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets for the ten days will be available online from December 24 at 11:00 AM.
  • SSD tokens for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshans will be issued at eight locations in Tirupati and one in Tirumala from January 10 to 19.
  • SSD token issuing centers include: MR Palli, Jivakona, Rama Naidu School, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Indira Maidan, Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, Bhudevi Complex, and Kaustubham Rest House in Tirumala.

Devotee Guidelines
  • Only devotees with valid tickets or tokens will be permitted in the darshan queue. Those without tokens can visit Tirumala but will not have access to the darshan lines.
  • Protocol darshans will commence at 4:45 AM on Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

Special Arrangements and Rituals
  • Vedaseervachana rituals in the temple are cancelled on Vaikuntha Ekadasi due to expected heavy crowds.
  • The Golden Chariot procession will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Vaikuntha Ekadasi.
  • The Chakra Snanam ritual will take place at Srivari Pushkarini from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM on Vaikuntha Dwadasi (January 11).
  • No special darshan privileges will be available for Govindamala devotees.

Devotee Facilities
  • The Annaprasadam wing has been instructed to distribute food continuously from 6:00 AM to 12:00 midnight during the event. Offerings include tea, coffee, milk, upma, chakkerapongali, and pongali.
  • Laddu distribution: A daily stock of 3.5 lakh laddus will be made available, with an additional buffer stock of 3.5 lakh laddus.

Infrastructure and Security
  • The Chief Engineer (CE) has been directed to ensure proper facilities at all SSD token centers.
  • Coordination between TTD security and police has been emphasized for smooth traffic regulation in Tirumala during the event.

These arrangements aim to accommodate the large number of devotees expected during the ten-day Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan and to ensure an orderly and spiritual experience.
